For more than five years, we have provided political and strategic advice to the Lotteries Council.
At the outset, the brief involved an engagement programme to persuade stakeholders of the need for less regulation. We advanced the core objectives of the Lotteries Councils with targeted briefings, in-depth third party reports and a Select Committee inquiry. As a result we were able to move opinion to a pro deregulation agenda recently confirmed by the Minister.
Because of our work and insight into parliamentary procedure and personnel, the Lotteries Council have been able to persistently make their case directly to MPs, Ministers and officials, calling for secondary legislation to help boost returns to good causes by introducing several changes to the Gambling Act.
